She died in June 14, 1935 in Barron, aged 74 years, 6 months and 15 days and was buried in the Hughes Family plot in Wayside Cemetery. Their children were: Selmina, b. Jun 1882; Ida, b. Apr 1884; Pearl Simeon, b. 5 Oct 1886, died 19 Oct 1911; Hattie (Harriet) E., b. Sep 1889; Bessie, b. Feb 1894; Gussie H., b. 1 May 1896, died 10 Jun 1912; & Bennie Hughes. Pearl Simeon and Gussie H. Hughes are buried in the same plot at their parents in Wayside Cemetery.
