GREENVILLE — Emma Mercer Putman, 80, of Lone Oak passed away June 30, 2011,, in Dallas.

Emma was born Aug. 10, 1930, in Princeton, daughter of Joseph and Pearly Cline. She worked as a production assembler at DAL AIR for many years.

Emma was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and will be missed by her family and friends.

Emma is survived by three daughters, Mary and husband Danny Bolch of Cumby, Paula Sandlin of Lone Oak and Myra and husband Ricky Wright of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Johnny, Ricky Joe, Anthony and Jana; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, George M. Mercer who lived in Lone Oak; one brother, Willie Cline who lived in Rowlett; and one sister Lois Butler, who lived in Garland.

Her funeral service is at noon today in the chapel at Quinlan Funeral Home with Brother Robert Cook of Lone Oak Baptist Church officiating. Her burial will follow the service in Hooker Cemetery in Lone Oak.
