Troop C returned to the States, September 10. 1898, aboard the transport Mississipp, docking at Jersey City, NJ. A "Welcome Home Parade" was given by the City of Brooklyn for its Spanish American War veterans, October 1, 1898. He was discharged from volunteer service, Nov. 25, 1898, Brooklyn, NY.
