She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in St. Clair and the Meramec Valley Promenaders.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Johnson; one brother, Frederick Hubert Bramerloh; and two sisters, Ann Elizabeth Bramerloh Cordell and Johannah Gertrude Bramerloh Hilderbrand.
She is survived by three children, Nels A. Johnson and wife Prudence, Union, Christina Carla Johnson, Issaquah, WA, and Perrin C. Johnson and wife Frankie, Ashland; two grandchildren, Lucas C. Johnson and Erika K. Johnson, both of Union; one step-grandchild, Gene Shields, Ashland; one nephew, Eugend Frederick Hilderbrand and wife Rhonda; one great-nephew, Michael Hilderbrand; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services were held Saturday, March 12, at St. John's U.C.C. in St. Clair with the Rev. Clint Spiney officiating.
Mrs. Johnson's body was cremated.
The family was served by Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville.

Mrs. Johnson was also a retired teacher, and had taught in the elementary school in Robertsville, MO. for most of her teaching career.
