Murphy, Jennie Abbott, 77, of Greenwood, SC and formerly of Lexington, widow of Dennis John Murphy, died Sun, Dec. 3, 2006. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta Morris Abbott. She was a retired bookkeeper. Surviving are two sons, Dennis Kavin Murphy of Cincinnati, OH and Robin Lee Murphy of Folsom, CA; a sister, Ann Ryan of Blairsville, GA and four grandchildren. A wake will be held at 660 Grimes Mill Road, Lexington, on Sat, Dec. 9, beginning at 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 998, Lexington, KY 40588.
