BLAIRE, James Robert was born on March 26, 1918 and passed away on January 7, 2010. He was born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio then lived in Los Angeles for 77 years.

Graduate of Saint Agnes High School 1936, sports editor of The Loyolan and campus sports correspondent to The Los Angeles Times for Loyola University 1938. WWII B17 navigator 390th Bomb Group 8th AF. POW in Germany, awarded Air Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Service Medal, Army Presidential Unit Citation and Purple Heart.

Preceded in death by his beloved Dorothy, survived by 2 brothers, 1 sister, 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob's joys in life were his family, friends, good times and good food. Thank you Bob for bringing so much joy to our lives.
