Paducah Sun, Wednesday, August 5, 1981, MAYFIELD, Ky. - Richard D. Bazzell, Mayfield, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Community Hospital.
He was 56 and a retired employee of Merit Clothing Co. having worked there for 36 years. He was a member of Farmington Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth McClure Bazzell; a son, Richard Bazzell, Calloway County; a stepson, Lynn Cobb, Sedalia; a brother, Howard Bazzell, Paducah; four sisters, Miss Mary Bazzell, Mayfield, Mrs. W.C. Hutchens, Benton, Mrs. Bill Hall, Mayfield, and Mrs. Homer Edwards, Sedalia; four grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Roberts Funeral Home. Harvey Lynn Elder and Jerry Mays will officiate. Burial will be in Coldwater Cemetery.
