The Oklahoman, Thursday, Nov 27, 1952: Services for Doin X. Adams, 52, of 1115 NW 18, are pending at Hahn-Cook Funeral Home. Adams died Wednesday morning following a heart attack. He was stricken as he reported to work at the Sante Fe Trailway Truck Lines. He was dead on arrival at Mercy Hospital.
A resident here for six years, Adams had been with the trucking firm for the past 14 years. He was a rate clerk. He and his wife, Augusta, came here from Kansas City, MO.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four brothers, E. R. Adams, Terre Haute, IN; Ray Adams, Yucaipa, CA; Vent Adams, Veedersberg, IN; and D. L. Adams, El Dorado Springs, MO; a sister, Mrs Ben Blades, Rockville, IN; a step-daughter, Mrs L. D. Pappas, and a step-son, Richard Nagel, both of Kansas City, MO.
