Lorene Springfield, 84, loving mother, "Nanny", sister and friend, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Community Bible Fellowship, 1365 Reynolds Road, Azle.
Interment: Azleland Memorial Park
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle.
Lorene was born May 1, 1927 to Thomas Elbert and Annie Yoder Graves in Verden, Oklahoma. She was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Jesus and her family were her whole life. Lorene was most generous and loving to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Purdy Hays and R. B. Springfield; five brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors: Children, Ellwood Hays and wife, Dorothy, of Cedar Hill, Jerry Hays of Saginaw, Sharon Mason and husband, Floyd, of Fort Worth and Marsha Frederick of Azle; grandchildren, Keith, Jeannette, Brian, Jackie, Sammy, Victoria and Esther; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Grace, Kris, Nick, Jessie, Tessa, Jerry, Jordan, Bethany and Elijah; brother, Robert Graves; sisters, Beth Burkhart and Mary Ann Green; and many other loving family members and friends.
