She was born in Wapello County, Iowa, to Elza and Ellen Downing Tillotson. She moved to Benton County in 1958 from Ottumwa, Iowa, and was co-owner and operator of Sallee Electric/Elec. Motor Co. from 1958 to 1974. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, the church Altar Society, Ruth Circle and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sallee, on April 17, 1990.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was 92 when she passed away at Gun Barrel, Texas.
