"Mrs. M.L. Gregory died at her home in Prague on last Thursday from the infirmities of age, after an illness of almost a year.
M.L. Feezell was born in Tennessee on September 2, 1845 and at the time of her demise was 84 years, 7 months and 15 days old. She was united in marriage October 11, 1865 to J.H. Gregory and to them 9 children were born, 5 of whom with her companion preceded her in death. They moved from Tennessee to Oklahoma at the opening of the country and homesteaded land near Lambdin where they made their home for many years. Recently, she has been living in town with her daughter, Mrs. Alexander, caring for her.
At an early age, she was converted and joined the Methodist church, living a consistantly faithful christian life. She leaves to mourn her loss four children, E.A. Gregory, Mrs. M.L. Alexander, J.W. Gregory of Tahlequah and Mrs. Allie Weaver of Wewoka. One brother, G.W. Feezell, of Tennessee, 16 grandchildren and 32 greatgrandchildren with a large circle of friends that survive her.
The funeral service was held from the M.P. Church on Friday, April 18th. Rev. Parnell of the Nazarene church conducting the service. Burial was made in the Lambdin cemetery."
