James Frederick Adams, 59, of Fredericksburg died Friday, June 24, 2011 in Fredericksburg.
Mr. Adams was a U.S. Army veteran who served during Vietnam.
Survivors include his sister, Anita Adams and her husband, Richard; a nephew, Michael Burgess and his wife, Jennifer; and three great-nephews, Joshua Burgess, Andrew and Jonathan Burgess. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick A. and Hazel V. Adams; and a niece, Stephanie Burgess Sniegowski.
A memorial service will be held at 4pm Sunday, July 3 at New Generation Outreach at the Mars Hill Buiding, 1006 Princess Anne St with the Rev. John Reid officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 11am Friday, July 8 at Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Generation Evangelical Episcopal Church, 6 River Oak Place, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
