MARION - Dorothy (Dottie Sue) Daughtrey Phillips, age 88, of Marion died at 12:05 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Livingston Hospital.
She was born and raised in Crittenden County and was a 1940 graduate of Marion High School. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Phillips Clayton of Nashville, Tenn., and Laura Phillips Pace and husband, Chris of Lexington, Ky.; and one son, Stuart Phillips and wife, Donna of Knoxville, Tenn. Also surviving are two grandsons, Garrett Phillips of Denver, Colo., and Stuart Pace of Lexington, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. "Bob" Phillips; her parents, Ray and Addie Daughtrey; one sister and one brother.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Gilbert Funeral
Home in Marion, Ky., with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, July 2, 2011, at the funeral home.
