Celebration of Life service for Frankie "Bobby" Parker, 86, of Lubbock will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011, in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with the Rev. David Hartman officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. "Bobby" passed from this life Wednesday, June 29, 2011.

Frankie Jean "Bobby" was born Jan. 22, 1925, in Hill County, Texas, to the late Bud and Alice (Wilson) Lewis. She graduated from West Texas State University (A&M). "Bobby" married Billy Jack Parker in 1941 in Mangum, Okla. She taught 3rd grade at Bozeman and Parkway Elementary School and served as counselor at Wheatley and Stubbs Elementary for many years.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jack, in 1999, and by three brothers and two sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving husband, Bill; granddaughter, Lori Oxford; grandsons, David Parker and Billy Parker; and great-grandchildren, Bryan Oxford, Staci Parker, Meaghan Oxford Hope and Reese Parker
