Charles Arnold, a life-long resident of Lauramie township, died suddenly at 9:30 o'clock Sunday morning while visiting friends in Frankfort. Heat trouble is assigned as the cause. Mr. Arnold was born in Lauramie township July 31, 1849, and was a farmer. He resided a mile north of Clark's Hill on State Road 6. Surviving are his widow and a son, Worth Arnold, by a former marriage. The body was removed to the home of his son and funeral services will be conducted from the Monroe U. B. church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial in the cemetery near the church.
