Services for Vera M. Collier, 75, of Rogers will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating.
Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.
Mrs. Collier died Monday, June 27, in a Humble hospital.
She was born to Adam and Eva Saltzman Abshire in Kaplan, La. On May 2, 1959, she married Charles Collier. She moved to Rogers in 1963 and worked as a nurse's assistant at Olin E. Teague Veteran's Center in Temple. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Rogers and of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 14, 2009.
Survivors include a son, Randy Collier of Rogers.
Memorials may be made to Mount Olive Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
