Charles "Charlie" Richard Brown, age 74 of Ironton, OH, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, KY. The Lawrence County, OH native was born June 22, 1935, the son of the late Alfred and Gladys Violet Sanders Brown.

He is survived by
his wife, Janice Marie Gore Brown whom he married March 9, 1957;
a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Rhonda Brown of Pedro, OH;
two daughters and sons-in-law; Terri and Larry McKenzie of Flatwoods, KY and Debbie and Greg Keatley of Ironton, OH;
two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Hilda Brown of Newark, OH and Gary and Joyce Brown of Coolville, OH;
6 grandchildren.

He was a 1953 graduate of Rock Hill High School and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a retired Supervisor for Osco Industries Jackson, OH Division and was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member at the Valley of Cincinnati and Local Lawrence Lodge #198 and was a Kentucky Colonel.
