Deceased Name: MISHOE -- Fred D.

MISHOE -- Fred D., 71, born Dec. 22, 1921, died April 10, 1993 of heart failure. Survived by wife Joan Mishoe, daughters Gloria McCall and Angela Kelsey, 3 grandchildren. Honorably retired from the US Airforce in 1965. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII in the 62nd. Group Carrier Transport Unit. Served as a production controller at North Island Naval Air Station retiring in 1987. A member of the La Mesa Masonic Lodge No. 407, Scottish Rite Bodies of San Diego and Al Bahr Shrine. He was a member of the Al Bahr Patrol marching unit and a recipient of the prestigious Hiram Award in June 1991. Served several terms as Chaplain of Lodge 407 and the Al Bahr Patrol. He was a volunteer with the Aerospace Museum in Balboa Park, working on the restoration of vintage and historic aircraft. He also served on the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Bingo Committee, volunteering many hours for set-up and floor work. An avid model railroader, he was a charter member of the San Diego Garden Railway Society. Viewing Wed. 4 to 9 p.m. Greenwood Mortuary. There will be a Mass of the Resurrection at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Thurs. April 15th. at 9:30 a.m. followed by Masonic Ceremonies at the Garden Chapel at Greenwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donati ons are rquested to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
