A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Chancey and Beuna Poole Black. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald "Flay" Randall; son Robert Stephen Randall; two brothers Walter B. Black and Cullen Black.
She is survived by her two sons, Samuel Flay Randall and Scott Wayne Randall, both of Shelby; brother Frank Black of Shelby; six grandchildren, Stephanie Messer and husband Gary of Dallas, Shayna Randall of Charlotte, Wesley Randall of Tenn., Eric Randall of Shelby, Brandon Randall and Jessica Randall, both of Gastonia; and three great grandchildren, Taylor Cagle, Andrew Randall, and Heather Messer.
The family would like to thank DCI for all their love and care extended for the past three years.
Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service
