Mr. Dipprey was born April 29, 1908. He died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, in, Wichita Falls.
He and Lebla Mae Pierce were married Feb. 11, 1928, in Round Timber. She preceded him in death June 16, 1998.
Mr. Dipprey was a pumper in the oil industry for Burk Royalty Co. He had been a resident of Park Springs for over 30 years. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Park Springs.
Survivors include a daughter Jimmie Brown of Wichita Falls; two sons Owen Dipprey of Wichita Falls and Berarr (Dipp) Dipprey of Graham; a sister Clara Rue of Olney, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, infant Mathilda in May 1932 and Edna Lorene (Rene) Dipprey in June 1979; two brothers and four sisters.
