Virginia Munroe, 82, of Douglasville, Georgia, died July 3, 2007. She was born February 21, 1925 in Cleveland, GA, where she lived until moving to Atlanta after her marriage to Lamar Ellis Munroe. She was a waitress for several years at Mary Mac's Tea Room.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Munroe. She is survived by her two sons, Lamar Munroe, Jr. of Douglasville, and Kell and Charlene Munroe of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kell Munroe, Jr. and Christy Teich; great-granddaughter to be, Ryan Carys Teich; sisters, Dottie Lee of Cranberry, Texas and Edith Boss of Conyers.
Funeral service held July 7 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Tyson Griffin officiating. Burial at Westview Cemetery.
