Moberly Monitor September 8,1934 Madison, Mo.-Sept. 8-Grier Augustus Beamer, 74, resident of this community for more than 50 years, died at 7:30 O'clock last night at his home a mile and half west of Ash. Mr. Beamer suffered a stroke of paralysis yesterday as he was repairing a fence at his home. He had suffered two other strokes of paralysis two years ago. He is survived by two sons, Champ, living near Cairo, and Coray of Madison, and six grandchildren. Mrs. Beamer died 15 months ago and another son, Jim, was killed 2 1/2 years ago in a railroad accident in Montana. Mr. Beamer was born in Virginia and moved to this county shortly after his marriage 50 years ago. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Ash Baptist Church. Burial will be in Ash Cemetery.
