VISALIA, CALIF - Benton "Ben" Endthoff, 82, Visalia, Calif, and formerly of Rochelle, died Sept. 7, at a Visalia hospital of cardiac arrest.

Services were held this morning at the Christ Lutheran Church in Visalia and burial took place in the Tulare District Cemetery.

He was raised and attended schools in Ladysmith, Wis. and graduated from high school there in 1926. He married Clara Haasl in 1930 in Ladysmith. They moved to Tulare, Calif. in 1936.

They moved to Rochelle in 1949. Benton was employed as a Parts Manager for Manning Motor Sales in Rochelle for 20 years. He retired in 1977. The moved back to Visalia in 1978.

He was a life member of the Visalia Moose Lodge and had a Pilgrim Degree with them. He was Secretary of the Visalia Masonic Lodge #128.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Endthoff, Visalia, a son, Gene, Sycamore; a daughter Pat Creager, Visalia; a brother, Norman, Oak Creek, Wis., a sister, Carol Oswald, Colorado Springs, Col.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
