He was born on the homestead in Town Plymouth on Jan. 27, 1863, son of Reinhold and Mary Becher, and had lived there all his life.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Benno (Dorothea) Reis, Plymouth, Mrs. Herbert (Frieda) Gartman, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Arthur (Eleanora) Beeck. of Shebovgan Falls, two sons. Milton, at home, and William, Town Schleswig, Manitowoc county, eight grandchildren, and a brother, Louis, in Plymouth.
He was a member of the Zoar Evangelical and Reformed church. Town Rhine. Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 o'clock at the Wittkopp Funeral home, and at 2:15 at the Zoar church, Town Rhine. The Rev. Ott Saewert will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
