Retired Farmer Dies at Lapel
Clark McClintock Funeral to Be Held Wednesday
Lapel, Ind., March 27---Clark McClintock, age 78 years, died at the family home Sunday at 9 p.m. following a week's illness. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church with Rev. A. C. Weischmeier officiating. Burial will be in Perkinsville cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Ralph and Arvin Lewis, Fred and Howard McClintock, Edgar Wyant and Levi Lloyd. Flower bearers will be granddaughters. Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Kate McClintock, and four children, Ray and Loren McClintock, both living on the old home place. Mrs. Gladys Lewis, at home. Mrs. Opal Whelchel of near Fortville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. McClintock was the only child of Andrew and Delilah [Anderson] McClintock and was born on the old McClintock homestead north of town where he lived until a few years ago. Because of ill health he purchased a few acres at the east edge of town where he lived until his death.

The body was taken to McCarty's funeral home where it will remain until the hours of the funeral.
