Ane Marie Henrie Excell, 82, died October 31, 1976, in a Salt Lake hospital of causes incident to age. Born November 26, 1866, in Panguitch, Utah, a daughter of James and Gedske Schow Henrie. Married Henry George Excell, July 3, 1905 in Panguitch. Later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

Active member of the LDS Church where she taught Sunday School class for over twenty-four years. Longtime ward choir member. Member of the Daughter of Utah Pioneers, Relief Society teacher. Member of Panguitch Rhythm Band.

Survivors: sons, James Henry Excell, Panguitch; Don G. Excell, Henderson, Nevada; daughters, Mrs. Levi (Ora) Myers, Mrs. Alton (Leona) Talbot, Mrs. Clair (Marie) Mortensen, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Verl (Gean) Henrie, Manti; Mrs. Orric (Elsa) Talbot, Irrigon, Oregon; thirty-eight grandchildren; one hundred fortyone great grandchildren; twenty-nine great great grandchildren; brother Edgar A. Henrie, Panguitch.

Funeral services were held Thursday, 2 p.m. Panguitch North Ward Chapel. Interment, Panguitch Cemetery.
