Lapel--William Rambo, 68, died Friday morning at his home in Lapel after a short illness. He had been employed at Delco-Remy, Dept. 301, where he had retired in 1964 after 41 years. A life-long resident of Lapel, he was the son of Herman and Ida Rambo. He was married in 1922 to Mabel Hersberger and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving besides the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Kline of Muncie, living of Emerson, N.J.; three sons, Oliver R. Rambo and living Rambo, both of Pendleton, and living Rambo of Norfolk, Va., and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Fisher Brothers Funeral Home in Lapel. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the mortuary and interment will be in the Brookside Cemetery.
