Married Georgina Maude Acheson on 27 Aug 1941 at Inistioge, Proton Twp., Grey County, Ontario. Their ceremony was conducted by Maude's brother-in-law Rev. Gordon Prosser at the Inistioge United Church. They had children together named Robert Ashley, Mary Elizabeth and Helen. Carroll died at Wellington Retirement Home in Hamilton.
