Services were held June 29, 2011 at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with Rev. Chuck Allen officiating.

Interment will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth.

She was preceded in death by:
Her husband, Willard Kiser
Daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Walter Donehoo and granddaughter Tammy Lowe.

She was the youngest of seven children of Thomas and Martha Chappell.

She is survived by:
Son and daughter-in-law, Don and Sherry Kiser of Smyrna, Daughter and son-in-law, Danny and June Lowery of Conyers, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

Ruby and Willard raised their family in Atlanta, while working at the Exposition Cotton Mill. The strong work ethic that the two of them possessed was passed on to their children and grandchildren. Ruby worked several jobs but the one that she enjoyed the most was meeting and greeting people as a hostess at McDonald's in Acworth. During her active years she was a dedicated member of First Baptist Acworth.

A special thank you to all the staff of Delmar Gardens of Smyrna for all the care and kindness they gave her in the last four years.
