Gresham resident Margaret E. Fiksdal, 89, died Tuesday, June 21, in Decatur, Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Pleasant Home Community Church, 32120 S.E. Dodge Park Blvd. Interment will follow at Crescent Grove Cemetery, 9925 S.W. Greenburg Road, Tigard.
Margaret was born Dec. 9, 1921, in Springfield, Colo., to Charles Branson and Lenora Clayton.
In 1936, she married Russell Blankenfeld, who preceded her in death in 1958. In 1963, she married Paul Fiksdal. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Margaret was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Fahner; brothers, Robert Branson, Vernon Branson, Irvin Branson, Harold Branson and Ray Branson; and sisters, Fern Hensley and Ruth Darland.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Blankenfeld Sr. of Cameron Park, Calif.; sister, Eva Lisenbury of San Diego; brother, Reed Branson of Durango, Colo.; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
