Delphord F. Scofield, 78, of Indianapolis, died Dec. 5th. He worked 14 years for Bryant Heating & Cooling, retiring in 1982. He was a veteran of World War II, retiring from the Air Force in 1968. He was a member of the West Morris Street Free Methodist Church.

Services: 11 a.m. Dec. 8 in Flanner and Buchanan Speedway Mortuary, with calling from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 7. Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Survivors, wife, Mary E. Kirkman Scofield; children, Lisa Landon, Frank A. Scofield and William E. Kirkman; sister, Gladys Nelson; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
