John Beedy, one of the oldest settlers of this county died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. V. Voyles, Tuesday evening Sept. 1. Mr. Beedy came to this county with his parents from Wisconsin when a boy. He and his brother have killed many a buffalo on the plains in this county where lies to day some of the finest farms in the county.
