Died on the 13th instant, at his late residence in Bono, Lemuel W. Aikman, after a lingering illness of 6 months. He was the youngest brother of our friend and patron, L.H. Aikman, and at the time of his death was 18 years, 3 months, and 13 days old. The funeral services were held by Rev. Thomas Griffith, of Montezuma, at the Bono Church. He was buried at Helt's Prairie Grove Cemetery, and his brave is beside that of a sister gone before. Consolation is extended to the bereaved relatives and friends in this their sad loss.
