DAVIS Goldie Ellen, 79, OKC, passed away Mon., July 30, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob A. Davis. They were joined in marriage in 1941. Mrs. Davis is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Jean Short of Blanchard, Dianna Cartwright of Guymon; her sister, Wilma Wilson of Seal Beach, CA; and grandchildren: Dianna Lynn Hopkins, Burbank, CA, Jay Short, Norman, Scott Short, OKC, and John Cartwright, Austin, TX. Born in Ellis Co., OK. Mrs Davis moved to OKC at an early age with parents, Bert and Olive Wivel. She was a Capitol Hill High School Graduate. Mrs. Davis is also survived by four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thurs., Aug. 2, 2001 at the South Colonial Chapel.
