Noah Wiswall (also known as Captain Noah Wiswall) - 1638-1690 - was born on 30 Dec 1638 in what is now Newton, Massachusetts, the son of Thomas Wiswall (1691-1683) and his wife Elizabeth (Berbage) Wiswall (1604-1666). He married, on 14 Dec 1664, Theodocia Jackson (1644-1725) in Cambridge (later Newton), Massachusetts. Noah Wiswall was killed in battle at Wheelwright Pond at Lee, New Hampshire, during events leading up to the Battle of Quebec, during King William's War on 6 July, 1690. He is honored on the south side of the First Founders Monument in Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts: "Capt. Noah, of the expedition against Canada killed in Battle with the French and Indian: 1690. Leaving a son Thomas."
