The Plattsburgh Sentinel 4 April 1930 Friday

The funeral of Mrs. Ethel Ashley Lassone, who died on Saturday morning, occurred Wednesday after noon at two o'clock at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ada A. Ashley at West Chazy, Rev. Mr. E.A. Hannay officiated. Burial was in the Lengfield cemetery at Ingaham.

The pall bearers were Messrs. R. E. Slason, B.B. Bruce, D.C. Felton, George Williams and Arthur Lassone.

Mrs. Lassonde was born in West Chazy on Dec. 24, 1890 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Ashley. On Jan 23, 1918, she was united in marriage with Joseph C. Lassonde of this city, Surviving Mrs. Lassonde are her husband, two step sons, Howard Lassonde of this city and Maynard Lassonde of Albany, her mother, a brother Merton H. Ashley of West Chazy.

The floral offerings were many and beautiful.

Among the out of town people who attended the funeral were Mr. & Mrs. Loyal LaSalle of St. Alvans, Vt., Miss Ella Mooney of Boston, Mass., and Charles Flaherty of Albany.
