"DEATH'S DEALINGS
The Home of Milton A. Waggoner Invaded and the Wife and Mother Taken.
Suddenly and without warning, the death messenger came to the home of Milton A. Waggoner, of Oak street, Riverside, Saturday morning at 8:45 o'clock, and took from the home the loving wife and mother, Mrs. E. Waggoner*. For almost one year she had been a victim of heart trouble, complicated with dropsy, and her sudden departure was not unexpected or unlooked for. The Angel of Death came as an angel of mercy to relieve her of her suffering. She was a devoted member of the Evangelical association of Freeburg and exemplified in her life a true Christian character. Her maiden name was Amerman, and she was born on the Gaskill farm at the north end of Union avenue fifty years ago. She is survived by the husband and two children, Earl and Bessie, also by one brother, Dr. S. D. Amerman, of Barstow, Fla. The time of the funeral has not yet been arranged and will not be until it can be learned when the brother can arrive at Alliance from his home in Florida."
*Should read Mrs. Hannah E. Waggoner.
