Jeanne Rae Clevenger died at home in Garden City on June 22, 2011.

She was born August 3, 1930, to Joseph and Mary Clevenger, in Driggs, Idaho. Jeanne's family endured many hardships during childhood while living in the Tetons, then moved to Boise in the 1930's in a cattle truck.

Jeanne worked for Western Union for 15 years, then started a career with State Police in Criminal Identification from 1966 to retirement 1992. She was recognized for her service by Governor Cecil D. Andrus; US Secret Service Technical Records Specialist Bureau of Criminal Identification; and the FBI, as well as many more.

Jeanne enjoyed reading, quoting and writing poetry, golfing, gardening, cats, and traveling to the Oregon Coast.

Jeanne had several "fur persons" during her life. For the last two years Jeanne had adopted Willow, who brought her many hours of happiness.

She was preceded in death by her sister Joann, and her life partner, Donna Aulbach, in 2007.

Jeanne is survived by brother-in-law, Dick Kruttmoes, nieces and nephews; Family of Donna Aulbach, Ramona Green, Catherine Wynn of Arkansas; Shirley Dhillen, David Aulbach of California; Joyce Shablo of Wyoming; Bob Aulbach of Missouri, and Renee Koberlein of Idaho.

Ramona would like to thank the many friends and caregivers that gave of their time and love to Jeanne.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, June 24, 2011at Cloverdale Memorial Park, Boise ID.
