Paul R. Irwin, son of Charles and Gladys (Mashburn) Irwin, was born April 13, 1937 in Gorham, KS and departed this life on Mar. 3, 1995 at the Overlake Memorial Hospital in Bellevue, WA at the age of 57 years, 10 months, and 20 days.

He spent his early years in the Gorham Community where he met and married Patricia Holler on Dec. 22, 1957. He joined the U.S. Army in 1956 and was stationed in Ft. Lewis, WA. After his Honorable Discharge in 1958, he and his wife made their home in Bellevue, WA where he was a manager for Puget Power Co. He was the president of the local AA & Drug Rehabilitation Program especially dealing with young people.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Marvin, John, and Max. To honor and cherish his many acts and deeds of love are his wife, Pat; his sons and their families: Brett & Patti, Danielle and Samantha Irwin of Kirkland, WA; Bryan & Bonnie, Joey and Kenny Irwin of Mulvane, KS; and Patrick & Jenny, Michael and Karlie Irwin of Allen, TX; one brother, Riley Irwin, Gorham, KS; three sisters: Bonnie Sander of Victoria, KS; Arlene Ralstin, Mullinville, KS; and Judy Weiss, Holyoke, CO.
