Ordered to 13th Battalion as Co. I, 9 Oct, 1862, from Meigs County,Fifth Tennessee Calvary. He's in the 1850, 1860 Meigs Co. Census with all children named, including those of Lucretia' by first spouse. Capt. W. W. Lillard was first a 3rd Lt in Capt. G. W. McKenzies Co. organized July 1861. Served his enlistment, came home and organized this company July 1862.
