Sadie and Thomas Willoughby were married in Kimesville, North Carolina. They were married for 21 years until his death on February 28th, 1949. She never remarried. Sadie worked at Annedeen Hosiery Mill making hose for many years, until her retirement. After her retirement she took courses at community college. She took crocheting, furniture refinishing and upholstering. Also sewing classes. She belonged to Forest hills Senior Citizens, was a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels and was formerly active in Alamance Senior Citizens. She was a member of Davis Street United methodist Church, where she was a member of the Morning Circle. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Aunt.
