THATCHER - Wanda Jeppsen Adams, 83, died Monday, October 3, 1994 in the Gardens Retirement Home in Ogden, Utah. She was born October 10, 1910 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Nels Peter and Luella Nelson Jeppsen Jr.

She married Floyd William Adams, July 6, 1931 in Brigham City, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on August 2, 1974. He died January 6, 1972.

Mrs. Adams was a graduate of Utah State University with a BS degree in Education. She had lived in Mantua and Thatcher, and had taught school in Yost, Howell, Thatcher and Tremonton for 25 years.

Wanda was an active member of the LDS Church where she served as a member of the Bear River Stake MIA Board and ward YW MIA Presidency. She was a Sunday School Teacher and also worked in the Extraction Program.

Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Duane G. and Betty Adams, Ogden, Utah; Leon J. and Iranne Adams, Citrus Heights, Calif.; three daughters, Colleen Adams, Las Vegas, Nevada; Gayle Hufstetler, Soda Springs, Idaho; Anne and Myron McClellan, Lacy, Washington; one daughter-in-law Barbara Adams, Brigham City, Utah. 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 4 sisters, Wynn Jeppson, Brigham City, Utah; Ardell Jeppsen, Benjamin, Utah; Winnie Thorstead, Honeyville, Utah; Audrey Bott, Brigham City, Utah; Carol Hopkins, Brigham City, Utah and
Roma Jeppsen, Ogden, Utah.

She was preceded in death by one son, F. Dallas Adams; one brother Lloyd Jeppsen and two great-grandchildren.

Interment was in the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery.
