Mrs. Veci Pauline Clonch, age 80, widow of Paul Eugene Clonch of Flint Hill Road, North Wilkesboro, died Monday, January 10, 2005, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Clonch was born December 12, 1924, in Wilkes County to Dewey and Hessie Shew Anderson. Mrs. Clonch was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Chuch. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Clonch and a daughter, Hilda Griffin.

Surviving are six sons, Rex Clonch of Roaring River, Hubert Clonch, Ray Clonch, Roger Clonch, Jason Clonch, all of North Wilkesboro, Robert Clonch of Mulberry; four daughters, Pauline Brown of Mulberry, Janie Osborne, Rozelle Dimmette, both of Rock Creek, Linda Felts of Hays; two brothers, Talmadge Anderson of North Wilkesboro, Wade Anderson of Taylorsville; four sisters, Gladys Nichols, Mary Alexander, Bobbie Wagner, all of North Wilkesboro, Joyce Stokes of Yadkinville; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 13, at Flint Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Richardson and the Rev. Kevin Souther officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Miller Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
