Aleda Borgstrom Burton, 78, Thatcher, Utah, died in her sleep Wednesday, November 28, 1990.

She was born on November 6, 1912, in Penrose, Utah, a daughter of Alben and Gunda Peterson Borgstrom.

She was married to William D Burton on December 18, 1933, in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He died on April 10, 1976.

She had lived in Penrose, Utah, Thatcher, Idaho, and Thatcher, Utah, she graduated from Bear River High School.

She had worked in the school lunch program for several years. She also worked in the cafeteria at Thiokol and the Box Elder County Nursing Home.

She was an active member of the Thatcher/Penrose First LDS Ward and had served in the past as Counselor in the Relief Society and YWMIA; a Teacher in the Sunday School, Primary Worker in the Ward and Stake, a Cub Scout Leader and a Visiting Teacher.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter: Dan Burton and David Burton, Thatcher, Utah; and Mrs Dean (Gayle) Bennett, Brigham City, Utah; 26 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; one sister, Wilma Hawkes, Brigham City, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, W Darrell Burton, seven brothers and two sisters.

Burial was held in the Bothwell Cemetery, Bothwell, Utah.
