Kroska Anthony J. Faribault Daily News 26/Dec/1968 Anthony J. Kroska, 75, of 309 Erblang Ave., and owner of the former Tony's Jack Sprat Food Store in Faribault, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 24. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. from the St. Lawrence Catholic church, with the Rev. F. L. Tschann, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Kohl Funeral Home after 2 p.m. on Thursday until the hour of services on Friday morning. The parish vigil prayers will be recited on Thursday evening at 8:30 at the Kohl Funeral Home. Mr. Kroska was associated for many years with the National Tea Food Stores, and from 1934 to 1958 owned and operated the Tony's Jack Sprat Food Store on Central Ave. Survivors include: his widow, Alma; four sons, Kenneth and Ralph both of Faribault, Lucian (Dick) of Rochester and Robert of South St. Paul; one daughter, Miss Rita Kroska of Faribault; nine grandchildren; one brother, Ben Kroska of Oakland, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Belle Hellersedt of Ft. Sill, Okla., Mrs. Selma Funk of Los Angeles, Mrs. Eleanor Begin of Los Angeles, Mrs. Cele Leider of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Ernest Van Stockum (Gertrude) of Des Plaines, Ill.; and a number of other relatives.
