Dr. Adams, 86, of Pineville died Thursday, December 7, 2006 in The Oaks Care Center.
He was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church of Pineville. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II in Europe as a M/Sgt; and then left the military and put himself through school to become an oral surgeon. He then re-entered the military as an oral surgeon, served for over 30 years, and retired as a Lt. Colonel.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Gloria Grace Carr Adams of Pineville; sons, Wesley Stuart Adams and wife, Christine of Palestone, Texas, Michael K. Adams and wife Kelly of Austin, Texas; sisters, Genny Robinson of San Antonio, Texas and Vaudie Mae Martin of New Hampshire; grandchildren, Rebecca Hinson of Dandridge, Tennessee and Aaron, Joshua, and Alex Adams of Austin, Texas.
Friends may call Saturday at St. Michael's Episcopal Church from 1 p.m. until service time.
