Obituary from Havre Daily News - 3 September 1992:

Frank A. Pleskac, 71, died Wednesday morning at a Great Falls hospital following complications from open heart surgery.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Walt Kirkegaard officiating.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Pleskac was born Aug. 10,1921 in Havre to Joseph and Frances Stremcha Pleskac. He attended school in Havre and graduated from Havre High School.

He was in World War II veteran serving with the United States Army Air Corp from 1942 to 1946. He served as a Utilities Tech with the 90th Engineering Squadron. He received the American Theater Service Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. After his discharge he began farming north of Havre and had retired in the spring of 1992.

On June 19,1946, he married the former Julia Dusek in Havre.

He was a member of the Grain Growers Association, Stock Growers Association and the Scale Association and was a past 4-H Leader. He was an avid hunter and out doors man and enjoyed snowmobiling. He was active in the Community Hall and the volunteer fire department.

He is survived by his wife of Havre, three daughters, Janice Hicks of Ovando, Mt., Rosalie Sather and Mary Jo Pleskac both of North Havre, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant daughter and one brother.

Holland and Bonine Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
