Charles and "Lutie" had three children: John, Richard and Mary Louise.
Lutie was an immacualte housekeeper, excellent cook and talented seamstress. She was a lifelong Methodist.

Fairbury (PNS) -- The funeral of Mrs. Mary Lucretia Steinberg, 84, a lifelong resident of Fairbury, will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home, Fairbury.
The Rev. George Russell and the Rev. Cecil Lockard will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Steinberg died at 1:40 p.m. Monday at the La Grange Hospital, La Grange.
She was born in Fairbury, August 26, 1887, a daughter of John P. and Emma Bennett Mitten. She attended Fairbury schools. She was married to Charles Steinberg Oct. 7, 1914 in Fairbury.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mary Louise Morris, Fairbury; two sons, John C., Shelton, Wash., and Dr. Richard M., Downers Grove; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one brother, Wayne B Mitten, Evanston.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Hopewell Sunday School Class. She was a Sunday school teacher many years. She also was a member of the Shakespeare Club.
