Loys Wade Mount, 81, of Sharon, died June 16, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday at First Baptist Church in Sharon with Dr. Jerry Summers officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon with Gardner Funeral Home in Sharon in charge of the arrangements.
Mount was born Aug. 19, 1929 in Sharon. He was a United States Air Force veteran, was retired as Sharon High School principal and former business owner.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Linda and Jim Baty of Waverly; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jill Mount of Martin, Steve and Gail Mount of Knoxville; one brother, Mike Mount of Martin; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
