Lynn Charles Beyeler, age 76, passed away peacefully October 1, 1994, in Salt Lake City.
Born December 9, 1917, in St. Charles, Idaho, to Charles Robert and Ruth Findlay Beyeler. He married Dorothy Ellen Steed, March 15, 1942 in San Diego, California. He grew up in the Bear Lake area and after graduating from Utah State University, he served as a major in the Marine Corps through World War II. He then went into private business in the Salt Lake area and over the last 24 years was an active participant and officer in the Holladay Lions Club. High priest, LDS Church.
His family and friends will miss him dearly. He was a mentor, a leader and a very loving husband, father and grandparent.
Survived by his wife, Dorothy, of Salt Lake City; a son, Michael L. (Gigi) Beyeler, The Woodlands, Texas; two daughters, Karen B. (Neil) Carmack, Centerville and Vickie B. (Robert) Gooch, Orem; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Seth (Gena) Beyeler, Bakersfield, Calif. Preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 5th, 11 am, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel 3251 So. 2300 East, where friends may call, for one hour prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Lynn's name to the Lions' Park for the Handicapped, P.O. BOX 17422 (84117).
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
